In January 2012, I reorganized BC Green Dogs to focus primarily on supporting rescue and advocacy work for animals across Canada. Below are listed the ones I focus on primarily at present. Adopt Canadian - This is my own campaign to assist in promoting good Canadian rescues and their Canadian bred pets which are available for adoption. I have a facebook page for every province as well as the key one - ADOPT CANADIAN.
Coalition for Cessation of Animal Sales in Pet Stores - I am very proud to have been asked to be a member of this coalition in its infancy which is trying to improve the lives of animals by working to stop sales through stores or persons who see them only as products and not living things deserving the best we can give them. I don't believe being sold in a pet store is the right venue and others like rescues, shelters, and responsible breeders can provide the care and education about the pet more effectively. Their intent will not be on the money but rather on finding good homes to match the animals needs.
Loki Christmas Wish Fund In conjunction with the Director, Kristen Neratini, I coordinate some of the collection and distribution of food, equipment, accessories and toys for animals in BC's non profit animal rescues and shelters at Christmas time each year . In December 2011, 23 organizations received up to $500 worth of ithese donations each. Can one person make a difference...absolutely!! Kristen is the poster child and it is a pleasure assisting in this annual activity.

ROXY'S FUND - Organization which collects and distributes food and essentials to the homeless in Vancouver who have pets on the streets of Vancouver, BC. on a monthly basis.
