A new kind of class for new owners who want to quickly learn what they need to know along with getting lots of personal attention, in a shorter period of time than the traditional 6 weeks course .
Classes offered in 3 levels: puppies only (Six months and under),
adolescent dogs only(seven months to 2 yrs old) and adult dogs only (2 yrs and older). Limit 4/class
GREAT HOUND TRAINING in support of BC Rescue Groups
Meeting regularly on Sundays from 10 am to 11am in a group, individuals get to practise the training they have been working on in real life situations outdoors. We focus on the basics and run through various exercises that build on good leash walking, focus and improved communications between dog and owner. Occasionally we also introduce some obstacle work to keep things fun and focused.
This is a good way to test and strengthen the behaviours you have been working on in a non formal way with a group of supportive fellow dog lovers. These group gatherings are only run when weather permits.

*In 2007 the American Veterinarian Assoc concluded that not all dogs need all the vaccinations previously offered. Please check with your vet, based on the size, age, breed and situations the dog is exposed to, which vaccinations are really necessary. Don't over vaccinate your pets.
Puppies socialization is critical during the first 14 weeks of age as their fears often are established during that time frame. Working in a restricted, clean environment with other healthy puppies will allow training and socialization to happen safely at an earlier age.
